It supports many file formats. The text is extracted and presented in a screen reader and keyboard friendly interface. By default text formatting, images and tables are not displayed. There is an option to open the book in a Readium based web viewer in which images and tables are displayed. It has not been however tested as it does not seem to be the main functinality of the app.
